Floating Plant Anchor DIY

List of Supplies:
1 Small round plastic basket (used aquatic plant basket is perfect)
1 4 Inch piece of filter pad
Small Zipties
Pea gravel or Gravel Substrate
1 Large Suction Cup With a button end

Instructions:
Force the Button end into the basket.
Attach any number of zip ties to tighten the grip the basket has on the suction cup, and any number of zip ties from front to back of basket to add reinforcing ties and add balance to basket.
Then cut and install filterpad to line the basket.
Cut some slots in the pad and push in the plant clippings you want to anchor.
Then fill with pea gravel/substrate mix of your choosing.
Last carefully attach the suction cup to the side of your aquarium in the position you desire.

Caution:
When performing water changes, if you choose an inflexible plant like brazilian pennywort, you may encounter some breakage from the lower water line. To avoid this, loosen the grip the suction cup has on the glass and lower to waterline you will pump out and then when done and water is re-added, repeat the move back to origional place basket was attached or any location of your desire.
